"As a makeup artist I do not feel passionate about achieving illusionary beauty standards; I feel passionate about emphasizing the beauty of each individual and the art that I can create on this living canvas, the human."
Already at a very young age I started discovering my passion for makeup art. In 2011 I established my YouTube Channel "MAKEART WITH MAKEUP" to submit videos for makeup contests and upload my own makeup tutorials.
Over the years I collected a lot of experience spending countless hours painting myself, working with Photographers, Video Producers, personal Clients, giving live Bodypaint performances and also competing in the finals of the NYX Face Awards 2017 and the L'Òreal Paris "The Brush Contest" in 2015.
I am looking forward to continuously challenge myself with new advanced creations, extend my working experience on an international level, satisfy the needs of each Client and spread my passion and love for this job.
All my life I experienced great pleasure perceiving through my visual senses. Regardless of whether me or my surroundings; I love expressing myself through creation.
With makeup I found a specific manner to implement my enthusiasm;
I am able to apply my art on a living canvas.
Although I really enjoy doing beauty makeup and seeing the effect that it has on the persons perception of himself, doing artistic fantasy makeup results in an even greater impact. It can change your outer appearance completely. Even though you remain the same you recognize yourself in a different way. As a result, different parts of you may reveal and showcase the variety of facets that every individual has to offer.
I believe we can be a lot more if we do not suppress our potential by expectations and measurements.
As a makeup artist I do not feel passionate about achieving illusionary beauty standards; I feel passionate about emphasizing the beauty of each individual and the art that I can create on this living canvas, the human.
I experience the process of creating as an intuitive one. If I am not given specifications by the Client I like to not plan out the final result in detail.
I get inspired by the process itself and work with the features of the person I am painting on.
